Karina Weber

Karina Weber (born June 29, 1962 in Hamburg ) is a German politician ( AfD , formerly: Schill , CDU ).

Life

Weber is divorced and has one grown daughter. She is a trained radio journalist and editor and before joining the Hamburg parliament she worked as an editor at Radio 1 in Bavaria, as a reporter and presenter at AlsterRadio in Hamburg and as a talk editor for a Sat.1 program . Weber has been working as a freelance journalist since finishing his political work as a member of parliament.

She has been a dressage and show jumping rider since her youth. In 1978 she was Hamburg junior champion in dressage and took part in German championships. Meanwhile, she rides to the class S . Her journalistic beginnings were in the field of equestrian journalism. For many years she reported on the German dressage and jumping derby in Hamburg Klein Flottbek.

From October 2001 to March 2004, Weber was a member of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg for the Rule of Law Party. As a member of the citizenship she was a member of the culture as well as the youth and sports committee. She was youth and sports policy spokeswoman for the Rule of Law Offensive party.

Weber was a parliamentary group member of the CDU in the district assembly in Hamburg Altona in 2010. She moved up because Peter Wentzel became State Councilor of the Economic Authority and thus left the district parliamentary group. She was a member of the planning committee and the budget committee.

In the 2015 mayor election, she ran for 22nd place on the AfD state list and 3rd place on the Blankenese constituency list , but failed to make it into the citizenry.
