Karl Anton Schulte (born December 27, 1873 in Neisse , † January 1948 ) was a German lawyer and politician of the Center Party .

Schulte studied law in Freiburg im Breisgau , Munich and Breslau and entered the Prussian judicial service in 1898. In 1905 he became a prosecutor in Lissa . In 1910 he moved to Bromberg . Schulte was appointed to the Public Prosecutor's Council in 1917. From 1919 he served as district court director in Breslau before he was appointed senior public prosecutor in 1921. From 1926 he was president of the senate at the regional court in Breslau and from 1928 president of the regional court in Hanau .

Politically, Schulte belonged to the Center Party. For this he was the second chairman of the Provincial Association of Lower Silesia . In addition, he was a member of the state committee from 1920 and in 1924 the Reich executive committee of this party.

Schulte was a member of the Prussian constitutional assembly from 1919 to 1921 and then a member of the state parliament until his resignation on January 31, 1923 . In March 1921 he joined the Reichstag as a member of the Center as a member of the Reichstag in the replacement procedure for his party colleague Alois Puschmann , who had resigned from his seat . He belonged to this - re-elected in the two elections of 1924 - until 1928 as a member of constituency 8 or - after re-numbering the constituencies 1924 - 7 (Breslau). During his time as a member of the parliament, he was a member of the parliamentary committee of the central parliamentary group in the Reichstag.

Schulte wrote numerous mostly political writings. During his studies he became a member of the KStV Brisgovia, the K.St.V. Saxonia Munich and the K.St.V. Unitas Wroclaw .
