Karl-Axel Kullerstrand (born March 1, 1892 in Stockholm , † May 14, 1981 in Täby , Sweden ) was a Swedish athlete who specialized in the high jump .

Karl-Axel Kullerstrand first appeared at the state championships in 1911, which he was able to win. He was invited by the Swedish NOK to take part in the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm . He was the only one of seven the competition is beaten Sweden, who qualified for the final. He had overcome the qualifying height of 1.83 m in the first attempt. In the final he made it again 1.83 m, but failed three times at the next height of 1.85 m. Kullerstrand thus ranked eighth.

During the First World War , Kullerstrand had to be content with participating in local sporting events, as there were almost no international competitions. In 1916 and 1917 he was again Swedish champion. In June 1917 he jumped a new Swedish record of 1.89 m. With this achievement he took second place in the world annual best list of 1917.

In later years, Kullerstrand was still active, but was unable to continue his old achievements due to a back injury.
