Karl-Heinz Garnitz (born May 3, 1942 in Bamberg ) is a German writer .

Life

Garnitz grew up in Bamberg and attended elementary school and high school there. The first poems and prose pieces were written. After finishing school, she spent time in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and on the Isle of Man . From 1964 to 2003 Garnitz was employed as an assembler and Cobol programmer as well as an IT organizer and internet designer for state and municipal administrations.

From 2003, after he retired, he returned to writing. Garnitz lived and worked in Waldkirchen until 2016 . In January 2016 he moved to Passau .
