Karl-Heinz Harmansa

Karl-Heinz Harmansa (born March 23, 1932 - † June 27, 2001 ) was a German table tennis player . He was twice German champion in doubles.

Harmansa had its strongest period in the first half of the 1950s. At first the penholder player belonged to the club Schwarz-Weiß Bochum, at the end of the 1940s he moved to VfL Bochum . With this club he was three times West German team champion from 1952 to 1954 and German runner-up in 1954.

At tournaments he often played doubles with Bernie Vossebein . With him he became West German Champion in 1956. In 1951 and 1953 they became German champions, in 1954 and 1956 they reached third place. In 1954, Harmansa was seventh in the DTTB rankings (excluding GDR players). Once he was called up to the national team.

In 1955 Harmansa switched to the Preussen Krefeld association for professional reasons .
