Karl-Hermann Reccius
Karl-Hermann Reccius (born May 23, 1916 in Kassel ; † August 25, 2003 ) was a German administrative lawyer .
Career
Reccius received his doctorate in 1941 at the law and political science faculty of the University of Marburg . From January 3, 1963, he was an independent district administrator in the Hessian district of Waldeck . In the 1963 election, Frank Seiboth was defeated despite support from the SPD. After the district was dissolved, he was the first district administrator in the newly created district of Waldeck-Frankenberg from 1974 to 1984 . In 1979 he advocated a veterans' meeting of the 3rd SS Panzer Division “Totenkopf” in Arolsen, as they “did nothing but their duty in good faith and with the best of will” . He turned against the "radical chaots" who "destroy all national consciousness" .
