Karl-Otto Maue

Karl-Otto Maue (born November 1, 1946 in Hameln ; † July 4, 2008 ) was a German journalist .

Maue studied cultural studies and joined North German Broadcasting in 1993 . Until 1996 he worked for the satirical magazine Extra 3 and until his death for the magazine DAS! in the category DAS! mobile . There he presented new car models in his own humorous way. On March 10, 2000, DAS! broadcast the hundredth review of a different kind with information about cars, motorcycles, scooters and even bicycles. Maue was a talk guest on the red sofa.

Karl-Otto Maue lived in the Hamburg district of Stellingen until his death. Maue died after a long and serious illness, leaving behind his wife and three children. He was buried in the Ohlsdorf cemetery in Hamburg.
