Arvid Lindström

Karl Arvid Lindström (born January 15, 1866 in Hedemora , † October 25, 1944 in Nyköping ) was a Swedish electrical engineer .

Life

He studied in Uppsala from 1866 to 1889 and began working for ASEA in 1900 as an engineer . After the death of Jonas Wenström (1893), he completed his work together with Ernst Danielson .

In 1904 he was also a teacher at the Royal Technical University of Stockholm and in 1907 professor of theoretical electrical engineering. In 1911 he became a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and in 1919 a member of the Royal Swedish Engineering Academy ( Ingenjörsvetenskapsakademien ).

After several months of illness, he died in the hospital in Nyköping.
