Karl Bohusch

Karl Bohusch (born May 18, 1916 ; † after 1984) was an Austrian gymnast.

Life

In 1943 he was sixth in the all- around at the German Gymnastics Championships in Passau . In September of the same year he was a private one of two Viennese representatives of the Danube-Alpenland sports area at the twelve-fight championships as part of the German gymnastics and game championships in Augsburg .

Bohusch taught gymnastics at the St. Pölten grammar school. After the Second World War , he started for ASK Vienna and was one of the best Austrian gymnasts until 1950.

At the first Austrian State Championships in 1947 in artistic gymnastics of the recently founded Austrian Association for Gymnastics , he came fifth in the decathlon among 20 participants. At the second state championships in 1948 he was second in the twelve fight.

In 1948 he was an Olympic athlete in gymnastics for Austria .
