Karl Busz
Karl Heinrich Emil Georg Busz (born February 2, 1863 in Kleve ; † December 8, 1930 in Münster ) was a German mineralogist .
From 1883 to 1886 he studied in Bonn and obtained his doctorate in 1887. phil. and from 1888 was assistant at the Mineralogical Museum in Bonn. From 1892 he was a private lecturer in Bonn and from 1894 in Marburg. In 1895 he was elected a member of the Leopoldina . In 1896 he became associate professor and in 1901 full professor for mineralogy, geology and petrography at the academy in Münster . In 1909/10 he was rector there. From 1910 he represented his university in the Prussian mansion .
