effect

In medicine, the "Dehiosche sign" is still a term used around the world in the diagnosis of heart disease. It says: "If the bradycardia resolves itself with subcutaneous injection of atropine, the cause is a vagus stimulus, otherwise there is cardiac insufficiency". His life was dedicated to fighting leprosy in Russia and the Baltic States. With the help of the young grand princes of the Romanovs , sons of Katharina Michailovna , as well as charity events organized by him ("leprosy balls"), he set up leprosories all over Russia to treat the sick. The fact that the epidemic was extinguished in Russia in 1918 was largely thanks to his efforts.
