Karl Deters
Karl Emil Friedrich Deters (born January 15, 1876 in Bremerhaven , † November 5, 1945 in Hamburg ) was a German manager . From 1927 to 1932 he was a member of the Hamburg Parliament for the German People's Party .
Life
Karl Deters passed his state examination, became a designer at a shipyard and later technical director of the Argo shipping company in Bremen. From January 1910 until the transition to the Hamburg-America-Line , Deters headed the Hugo-Stinnes-Linien.
Deters was later director of HAPAG . He was also a member of the board of the Hamburg-America Line and board member of the Hamburg National Club .
