Karl Frederik Danielsen

Karl Frederik Danielsen (born April 11, 1971 in Uummannaq ) is a Greenlandic politician ( Siumut ) and teacher .

Life

Karl Frederik Danielsen attended high school in Aasiaat from 1988 to 1991 . He then began to study administration at Ilisimatusarfik , which he broke off in 1993 because of the death of his mother. Instead he started working as a tanker driver the following year and was then a hunter and fisherman from 1995 to 1997. Then he enrolled at Ilinniarfissuaq to train as a teacher. After completing his studies, he became a teacher at Qorsussuaq in Nuuk in 2001 and moved to the Folkeskole in Kangaatsiaq for a year in 2003 . Then he returned to Qorsussuaq . From 2005 to 2008 he was vice school inspector, from 2008 to 2010 interim school inspector and then one year school inspector before the school was closed in 2011. From 2011 to 2012 he was sub-head of the school department of Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq with the field of economics. From 2012 to 2015 he was school inspector in Kangaatsiaq. He was then a school inspector in Nanortalik from 2015 to 2016 . From 2016 to 2017 he was chairman of the teachers' association IMAK and since 2018 school inspector of the Folkeskole in Nanortalik.

Karl Frederik Danielsen ran in the 2018 parliamentary election . He received 98 votes and thus missed the parliamentary entry. On November 29, 2018, he was appointed Minister of Housing and Infrastructure in the Kielsen IV cabinet for the resigned Simon Simonsen without membership of parliament , which he also remained in the Kielsen V and VI cabinets .

With his wife Bolethe "Bola" he has two adult step-sons.
