The Kielsen VI cabinet is the 24th government in Greenland . It replaces the previous minority government by joining the government with the Democrats , who had previously acted as a supporting party .

Origin and existence

The Kielsen VI cabinet is the fourth cabinet since the 2018 parliamentary election . On May 7, 2020, the Democrats , who had previously supported the Kielsen V cabinet , announced that they were considering joining the coalition. On May 29, 2020, Prime Minister Kim Kielsen finally presented the new coalition of Siumut , Demokraatit and Nunatta Qitornai . The previous cabinet was supplemented by three ministers, so that none of the previous ministers had to give way, which means that the cabinet now consists of ten ministers.
