Ane Lone Bagger (born Iversen ; born February 25, 1966 in Ilulissat ) is a Greenlandic politician ( Siumut ).

Life

After finishing school, Ane Lone attended the iron and metal school in Aalborg from 1987 to 1988 . From 1988 to 1991 she trained as an aircraft mechanic at Grønlandsfly , where she worked until 1993. Then she was an air traffic controller for a year before she became a stewardess and at the same time trained as a traffic assistant, which she was from 1996 to 2006. From 2007 to 2016 she was an insurance broker.

Ane Lone Bagger began her political career in 2008 when she was elected to the council of the new Qaasuitsup Kommunia as the only representative of the Democraatit . She ran in the 2011 Folketing election , but received the fewest votes of all candidates. In the local elections in 2008, she could no longer move into the local council with the Demokraatit, although she received the second most votes of all Demokraatit candidates nationwide. In the 2017 local elections, she ran for the Siumut and was elected to the council of the new Avannaata Kommunia . In October 2018 she was appointed Minister of Education, Culture, Churches and Foreign Affairs in the Kielsen IV cabinet and continues this office in the Kielsen V cabinet . On November 22, 2019, she was assigned the Nordic Cooperation of Vittus Qujaukitsoq , but it fell under her Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In May 2020 she lost the Foreign Ministry in the course of the establishment of the Kielsen VI cabinet . After being on sick leave for two weeks due to stress in March 2020, she resigned from her position on July 31, 2020 for personal reasons.

She has twins with her husband Frank Bagger.
