Anna Wangenheim

Anna Wangenheim (born August 1982 in Narsaq ) is a Greenlandic politician ( Demokraatit ).

Life

Anna Wangenheim graduated from school in 2003. She then studied at the Nuuk Journalism School for a year . From 2004 to 2006 she was an assistant teacher in Narsaq. From 2006 to 2008 she was a production technologist in Aarhus . In 2014 she graduated from University College Southern Denmark with a Bachelor's degree as a nurse . For the next few years she worked as a nurse in Denmark and Greenland. She is divorced and has three children.

Anna Wangenheim has been the regional chairwoman of Demokraatit in the western part of Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq since December 2017 . She ran in the 2018 general election . In doing so, she reached the second place of the Demokraatit. In August 2019, she moved to the Inatsisartut for the resigned Randi Vestergaard Evaldsen , while Niels Thomsen was on leave. In November 2019 she became a permanent member with the resignation of Niels Thomsen. In May 2020 she was appointed Minister of Health in the Kielsen VI cabinet.
