Karl Fricke (born March 15, 1852 in Salzgitter , † October 11, 1915 in Bremen ) was a German educator .

biography

Fricke grew up in Göttingen and attended high school there. From 1871 to 1875 he studied natural sciences at the University of Göttingen and obtained his doctorate in 1875. rer. nat. Then he was an assistant teacher at a secondary school in Malchin and senior teacher in Rendsburg . In 1878 he was appointed to the commercial school in Bremen and appointed professor. After the reorganization of the Bremen school system, he taught science at the secondary school in Dechanatstrasse in Bremen. He had a significant influence on the design of science classes in Germany. His work, Biologische Heimatkunde , was published in 1909. He was a member of various educational commissions and the debt deputation of the Bremen citizenship .
