Carl Friedrich August Müller
Carl Friedrich August Müller (also: Karl Friedrich August Müller * June 30, 1777 in Hanover ; † July 26, 1837 in Munich ) was a German lawyer , author and playwright .
Life
Carl Friedrich August Müller was born during the personal union between Great Britain and Hanover at the time of the Electorate of Braunschweig-Lüneburg in Hanover in 1777 as the son of the royal British lieutenant engineer, military scientist and Göttingen university professor Gerhard Christoph Müller . His mother was Clara Dorothea Müller, née Bünemann.
After completing his school education, he studied law at the University of Göttingen and the University of Erlangen and graduated with a doctorate in law.
From 1788 to 1796 Müller published the magazine for general natural and animal history published by Brose in Göttingen and Leipzig .
From 1816 Müller worked as an official at the Royal State Library in Munich . In 1825 he founded the magazine Der Bayerische Landbote , and in 1830 also the Bayerische Landbötin .
