Karl Friedrich Ebert

Karl Friedrich Ebert (born March 5, 1838 in Bockwa ; † March 22, 1889 in Gries ) was a manor owner , industrialist and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Ebert attended the grammar school in Zwickau and the Bergakademie Freiberg . In 1857 he became a member of the Corps Franconia Freiberg . He undertook extensive travels and from 1861 to 1864 was a mining official and surveyor in Zwickau. Between 1865 and 1870 he was the owner of a coal works in Oberhohndorf and from 1871 he was the owner of a manor in Leubnitz and a hard coal works owner in Oberhohndorf, Reinsdorf and Oelsnitz . He was also a member of the district committee of the district assembly, church council and justice of the peace.

From 1881 to January 1886 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Kingdom of Saxony 19 Stollberg , Schneeberg and the German Conservative Party .
