Karl Friedrich Wilhelm von Nettelbladt , actually Karl Friedrich von Nettelbladt , also Carl Friedrich Wilhelm von Nettelbladt (born May 4, 1747 in Wetzlar , † July 30, 1818 in Rostock ) was a German lawyer.

Life path

Karl Friedrich (Wilhelm) von Nettelbladt was the son of the lawyer who was raised to the nobility in 1746, in 1762 to the imperial baron and at that time Christian von Nettelbladt (1696–1775), who was active at the imperial court in Wetzlar .

After studying law at the University of Göttingen , he found a job in 1767 as an auditor at the law firm in Rostock. In 1767 he was appointed to the chancellery. From 1790 he was vice director and from 1795 director of the law office. The University of Rostock awarded him the honorary degree of Dr. iur.

On August 8, 1766, Nettelbladt was accepted into the Masonic lodge Zu den Drey Löwen in Marburg , and later he was a member of the Temple of Truth Lodge in Rostock.

He was married twice. His first wife was Friedrike Wilhelmine Prehn (1752–1779). After her death he married her sister Christiane Eberhardine Prehn (1756–1796). His son from his first marriage was the lawyer and Freemason Christian Karl Friedrich Wilhelm von Nettelbladt (1779–1843), his son from his second marriage was the lawyer Christian Erhard von Nettelbladt (1792–1863).
