Carl Friedrich von Zocha

Carl Friedrich von Zocha (born July 1, 1683 in Gunzenhausen ; † July 24, 1749 in Ansbach ) was the chief building director, privy councilor and minister of the Brandenburg-Ansbach margraviate .

Carl Friedrich von Zocha, originally a lawyer, drafted the plans for the reconstruction of the Ansbach residence in 1725 , which was completed under his successor as building director, Leopoldo Retti . Von Zocha led the reconstruction of the castle in Unterschwaningen , where Friederike Luise von Prussia , sister of Friedrich II. , Lived until her death.
