Karl Georg Zachariae von Lingenthal

Karl Georg Konstantin Zachariae von Lingenthal (born October 1, 1842 in Heidelberg , † July 31, 1907 in Kleinkmehlen ) was a German manor owner and member of parliament.

Life

Zachariae von Lingenthal came from a family of legal scholars. His father was the legal historian Karl Eduard Zachariae von Lingenthal , his grandfather the legal scholar Karl Salomo Zachariae . He studied at the University of Halle . In 1864 he became a member of the Corps Marchia Halle . In the Prussian military he obtained the rank of first lieutenant. He later became the owner of the manor in Großkmehlen, which his father had bought . Most recently he lived in small flour as a private citizen.

Lingenthal was a district deputy and a member of the Brandenburg Provincial Parliament . From 1899 until his death in 1907 he sat as a member of the Merseburg constituency 1 (Liebenwerda, Torgau) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party .
