Karl Gottfried Philipp

Karl Gottfried Philipp (born December 16, 1896 in Watzenborn-Steinberg ; † September 1, 1968 ) was a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and a former member of the Hessian state parliament .

Karl Gottfried Philipp worked as a miner after attending primary school from 1911 to 1921. He had been a brickworker since 1921. He did military service in both world wars .

In 1945 he was one of the co-founders of the Christian Democratic Party, later the CDU. From February 26, 1946 to July 14, 1946, Karl Gottfried Philipp was a member of the appointed advisory state committee and from July 15, 1946 to November 30, 1946 of the state assembly advising the constitution . In the first electoral period from December 1, 1946 to November 30, 1950, he was a member of the Hessian state parliament. In 1949 he was a member of the 1st Federal Assembly .
