Karl Gustaf Ratjen

Karl Gustaf Ratjen (born June 18, 1919 in Berlin ; † September 12, 2010 in Königstein im Taunus ) was a German manager .

Act

Ratjen joined the board of the Metallgesellschaft in 1965 and was chairman of the board until 1984 . Until 1987 he was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen AG . Ratjen was also President of the European employers' association Unice from 1986 to 1990.

Ratjen had other mandates at Villeroy & Boch , Bahlsen , Kühnle, Kopp & Kausch , Harpener , General Electric and at Bankhaus Metzler .

In 2003 he received the Sieghardt von Köckritz Prize .
