Karl Hölscher

Karl Hölscher (born July 22, 1904 in Westkirchen ; † June 13, 1987 ) was a German lawyer and administrative officer .

Life

Karl Hölscher completed a law degree, which he completed with the second state examination in law. He then entered the judicial service as a court assessor and worked as a lawyer from 1932 to 1940. He then took part in the Second World War as a soldier until 1945 . After the end of the war, Hölscher worked again in the administrative service and in 1945 became a department head at the road traffic department in Münster . From 1947 he worked as a ministerial advisor in the Ministry of Transport of North Rhine-Westphalia (later Ministry of Economics and Transport) and was appointed ministerial director in 1950 . From 1955 until his retirement in 1969 he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia .
