Karl Hack (administrative lawyer)

Karl Hack (* 1844 in Mannheim ; † July 19, 1905 in Munich ) was a German municipal official.

Life

Hack studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University . In 1864 he was reciprocated in the Corps Suevia Munich . After completing his studies, he entered the administrative service of the realm of Alsace-Lorraine . In 1873, as a district assessor, he wrote the text "Statistical Communications on the City of Mulhouse, 1872". From 1880 to 1882 he was district director of the Château-Salins district and from 1882 to 1887 of the Gebweiler district . In June 1887, he moved to Mulhouse as Lord Mayor . He held the office until 1901. Characterized as an Imperial Privy Councilor , he lived in Munich until his death. He died at the age of 61.
