Karl Heinisch

Karl Heinisch (also Carl Adam Heinisch , born March 23, 1847 in Neustadt district Neustadt OS , province of Silesia , today Prudnik ; † December 29, 1923 in Munich ) was a German painter .

Life

Karl Heinisch was the son of a chancellery. On May 4, 1870, he enrolled at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. From 1879 to 1913 he was represented almost every year at the annual Munich exhibitions with motifs from Upper Bavaria and Lake Constance . The work of the artist, who works as an open-air painter, can be stylistically assigned to the circle of the Munich School and Wilhelm von Diez .
