Karl Hell

Karl Hell (born September 19, 1908 in Werne near Bochum , † 1999 in Toronto ) was a German architect whose works can mainly be found in Cologne and the surrounding area.

Life and education

After primary school, Hell began training at the Ruhrknappschaft and the building trade school in Essen . He found his first job in the construction department of Rhenania-Ossag Mineralölwerke AG in Düsseldorf. 1933–1940 he worked in Heinrich Bartmann's office in Cologne, then with Konstanty Gutschow in Hamburg . Hell lived on Braunstraße in Cologne-Braunsfeld .

Hell's estate was kept in the historical archive of the city of Cologne in 1462 .
