Karl Hoffmann-Scholtz

Karl Hoffmann-Scholtz (born December 26, 1830 in Liegnitz , Province of Silesia , † May 10, 1888 in Berlin ) was a German administrative lawyer and politician.

Life

Hoffmann-Scholtz was a son of the district court director Hoffmann-Scholtz, Herr auf Pohlsdorf, Kr. Goldberg-Haynau, and his wife Pauline, nee. Müller. He attended the Knight Academy in Liegnitz and studied law in Halle , Bonn and Berlin . In Bonn he became a member of the Corps Borussia in 1850 .

After completing his studies, Hoffmann-Scholtz became court assessor in 1858, district judge in Löwenberg in 1862 and was district administrator of the Liegnitz district from 1863 to 1888 , later a secret councilor.

In 1888 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for a short time .
