Karl Koß (writer)

Karl Koß (born January 13, 1930 in Hagenow ) is a German author of radio plays and Low German texts.

He grew up in Redefin . After training as a sports teacher , he became an administrative clerk. He later worked as a freelance journalist, press illustrator and author; he was a founding member of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania regional association of the German Association of Journalists .

Karl Koß designed the series “Dit un dat, up hoch un platt” for radio stations in Schwerin and Rostock ( holiday wave ). He wrote at least 62 radio plays for children for children 's radio in the GDR . He published texts in anthologies , wrote texts for the press and radio, designed caricatures and organized readings in Low German.

Karl Koß is a paternal uncle of the German writer Bert Koß .
