Karl Löppen

Karl Löppen (born March 28, 1901 , † March 23, 1969 ) was a German local politician.

In 1950, Löppen became the first mayor of the newly founded displaced community of Traunreut . He stayed in office until 1958. During his time as mayor, the community developed rapidly. The population rose from 1,381 to almost 10,000 citizens.
