Franz Haberlander

Franz Haberlander (born November 6, 1915 - September 23, 1992 ) was a German local politician.

Career

Haberlander was elected mayor of the Upper Bavarian town of Traunreut in 1958 , one of five Bavarian towns for displaced persons that only emerged after the Second World War . He stayed in office until 1984. During his term of office the elevation to the city took place. In 1974 the first town twinning was concluded with Nettuno (Italy). In the course of the municipal reorganization of Bavaria in 1978 the communities Stein an der Traun , Traunwalchen and parts of Pierling were incorporated into the town of Traunreut.
