Karl Ledergerber

Karl Ledergerber (born May 20, 1914 in St. Gallen ; † July 1, 2004 ) was a Swiss publisher and writer .

Life

Karl Ledergerber grew up first in St. Gallen and from 1922 in Zurich . He studied (major) German and received his doctorate in Friborg in 1941 with a dissertation on the literary image of Cassandra . He first worked for the ICRC in Geneva , then between 1942 and 1944 as head of Swiss refugee homes. In 1945 he became a lecturer at Walter Verlag . After his retirement in 1974, in addition to his writing activities, he gave courses at the adult education center and worked as a life coach . He last lived at Bahnhofstrasse 43 inGümligen .
