Karl Minning

Karl Minning (born April 27, 1889 in Köslin , Pomerania , † April 24, 1972 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Karl Minning attended elementary school and worked as a milling cutter in the metal industry. In 1909 he joined the union and a year later the SPD. He had to do his military service in 1915 and became a soldier in the First World War . In 1916 he was taken prisoner by the French . He did a commercial apprenticeship and worked as an employee at BEWAG in Berlin . After the " seizure of power " by the National Socialists , Minning was dismissed for political reasons in 1933.

After the Second World War , Minning returned to work at BEWAG. Since Walter Wüst (1896-1965) continued to work as a district councilor in the Wedding district , Minning was able to move up to the Berlin House of Representatives in May 1951 . In the following election in 1954, he moved again two months later for Walter Wüst in parliament.
