Karl Peter Böhr (born June 18, 1925 in Polch ; † April 27, 2017 in Trier ) was a German architect and master builder in Trier.

Life

Böhr was influenced by his "teacher" Dominikus Böhm . He designed Roman Catholic churches in the spirit of the liturgical movement , especially in the Trier region. In the process, Böhr developed from the Expressionist Gothic style to concrete brutalism to postmodernism . In 1987/88 he was appointed master builder by the cathedral chapter of Trier cathedral .
