Karl Reich (life dates unknown) was a German football player .
Career
Empire belonged from 1903 bis 1911 the FC Stuttgart Cickers to, for which he in the South German association football clubs organized championships in the district of Swabia in his time regional top division as a center half denied point games.
During his association with the team, he won seven regional championships, including the South German championship in 1908. With this success he was represented with his team as a participant in the final round of the German championship . His team reached the final against BTuFC Viktoria 89 , which was scheduled in Berlin on June 7, 1908 , after he had played all three final round matches including the replay against Freiburg FC , which he won 5-2 - the match was canceled before. In the replay he missed a penalty in the 43rd minute and in the semifinals he scored his only goal with the goal to 2-0 in the 40th minute. The final on Berlin's Germania-Platz , home of BFC Germania 1888 , in which it was not used, was lost 3-1 in front of 4,000 spectators. Although Rudolf Ahorn made the connecting goal to 1: 2 in the 86th minute, Helmut Röpnack scored the goal three minutes later.
For the 1911/12 season he switched to the Frankfurt FV within the association, he was used for this in the northern district and contributed seven goals in 18 point games to winning the northern district championship. In the subsequent final round of the South German Championship , he and his team finished last among the four district champions.
