Karl Riedl (* in Kloster Indersdorf , Bavaria ) is a German film editor .

Life

Karl Riedl studied theater studies in Munich and then switched to editing .

His work has won several awards at the major film festivals from Rotterdam, Berlin, Cannes, Venice, New York, Sundance, Tokyo to Montreal. Ua was 2000 Suzhou River on the Rotterdam International Film Festival awarded the Tiger Award, 2003 Blind Shaft at the International Film Festival in Berlin the Silver Bear for artistic performance and on the Tribeca Film Festival in New York for Best Picture and 2012 end of the honeymoon period to the Kinofest Lünen as best film.
