Karl Rummelhardt (born December 15, 1872 in Vienna , † October 19, 1930 ) was an Austrian politician ( CS ) and city councilor in Vienna.

Karl Rummelhardt graduated from secondary school and then attended the St. Pölten Teachers Training College and the Vienna Pedagogy. After passing the elementary and community school teaching examination, Rummelhardt worked as a teacher in Stockerau and at various elementary, community and commercial schools in Vienna. Finally, he switched to the technical and commercial advanced training school in Ottakring , where he accepted the office of director. As a result, he also became a concept officer for further education school council and official director. In 1919 Rummelhardt was appointed government councilor , and in 1926 court councilor.

From 1902 Rummelhardt was a member of Viennese school authorities such as the district school council, the state school council and the city school council. From 1914 he represented the Christian Social Party in the Vienna City Council and was a member of the Vienna City Council for the first time between 1915 and 1917. He was also a member of the joint state parliament of Lower Austria, where he was particularly involved in business issues, personnel policy, education, as well as art and literature. After retiring in 1918, he continued to advocate public affairs. He was the founder and president of the "Alt-Wiener Klubs", an association to promote old Viennese folk customs and traditions. In addition, Rummelhardt was a member of the Vienna City Council from December 1918 and again from 1919 Vienna City Council, but without his own departmental responsibility. Rummelhardt exercised both functions until his death.

After his death, Rummelhardt was buried in the Vienna Central Cemetery .

In 1933 the Rummelhardtgasse in Vienna- Alsergrund (9th district) was named after him.
