Karl Sacherl

Karl Sacherl (born February 10, 1916 in Zweibrücken , † November 5, 1994 ) was a German psychologist .

Life

Sacherl studied medicine and law at the University of Heidelberg from 1935 to 1937 . In 1937 he was drafted into the Wehrmacht . Most recently he was first lieutenant in the reserve. From 1946 to 1950 he studied psychology at the University of Mainz (diploma). In 1950 he became a professional and private person with Albert Wellek at the Philosophical Faculty with a dissertation . A socio-psychological investigation of the typical basic possibilities of your relationship with Dr. phil. PhD.

In 1951 he was assistant to Karl Schlechta at the Institute for Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology at the Technical University of Darmstadt . In 1953 he was a lecturer in applied psychology and social psychology . In 1954 he completed his habilitation. In 1961 he became an adjunct professor and in 1966 a scientific councilor. In 1971 he became a professor. In 1976/77 he was Dean of Faculty 3.

He was a member of the German Society for Psychology and the German Society for Advertising Science .
