Karl Schorn (writer)
Karl Schorn (born August 31, 1893 in Neuss , † October 13, 1971 in Richterich , Aachen ) was a German writer .
Life
Karl Schorn began after the High School , a study of the German language . This study was interrupted from 1914 to 1920 by participating in the First World War and being a prisoner of war in France . When he returned home, Schorn resumed his studies. In 1923 he earned his doctorate in philosophy at the University of Bonn with a thesis on the author Wilhelm Jensen . He then lived as a freelance writer in Neuss. In 1926/27 he worked as a dramaturge for the Calderon Festival in Bad Godesberg . As such, he created a new version of the Great World Theater in 1927 .
Karl Schorn's work consists of historical novels , stories , travelogues , aphorisms and poems .
