Karl Theodor Graf zu Toerring-Jettenbach called Toto (born September 22, 1900 in Winhöring , † May 14, 1967 in Munich ) was a Bavarian entrepreneur .

Life

Karl Theodor Graf zu Toerring-Jettenbach was the son of Sophie Adelheid in Bavaria and Hans Veit zu Toerring-Jettenbach . From October 29, 1929 until his death he was Hereditary Count Toerring . Karl Theodor married on January 9th in Munich and on January 10th 1934 at Seefeld Castle (Upper Bavaria) Princess Elisabeth of Greece and Denmark. Their children were Hans Veit Kaspar Nikolaus Graf zu Toerring-Jettenbach (born January 11, 1935) and Helene Marina Elisabeth Countess zu Toerring-Jettenbach (born May 20, 1937 in Winhöring). Helene married Ferdinand von Habsburg-Lothringen in 1956 (* December 6, 1918, † August 6, 2004). His wife's two sisters were Olga of Greece , married to Prince Paul of Yugoslavia , and Marina of Greece , who married George, 1st Duke of Kent on November 29, 1934 . The family met at Schloss Frauenbühl in Winhöring .

In 1935 Toerring-Jettenbach moved the family seat in Munich from Palais Toerring on Karolinenplatz to Cuvilliesstraße 8-10. Then the Toerring-Palais on Karolinenplatz was integrated into the party chancellery of the NSDAP . His brother-in-law, Prince Regent Paul of Yugoslavia , made a state visit to the German Reich in June 1939. According to the records of Juan de Borbon y Battenberg , the Torring met on June 2, 1939, after the Prince Christoph of Hesse-Kassel , director of the († October 7, 1943 born May 14, 1901) Research Office in the Palais Bellevue (Kassel) to a Dinner. Prince Regent Paul signed the three-power pact in Vienna on March 25, 1941 .

On December 18, 1952, Toerring-Jettenbach founded UHER Werke München GmbH together with Edmond Uher and his wife Fiametta Uher .
