Karl Uwe Oppermann

Karl Uwe Oppermann (born September 3, 1944 in Vienenburg ) is a Bremen politician ( CDU ). He was a member of the Bremen Parliament .

biography

education and profession

He graduated from school with a secondary school leaving certificate and was then from 1962 to 1973 an apprentice, sailor and finally a ship officer at DDG "Hansa" Bremen. In 1969 he acquired the patent as a helmsman on a long voyage at the University of Bremen , and in 1971 the patent as a captain on a long voyage. After Karl Uwe Oppermann became a contract teacher in 1973, he studied at the Vechta department of the University of Osnabrück to become a secondary school teacher. In 1979 he was hired as a secondary school teacher as a civil servant for life by the Lüneburg district government . Until 1995 he taught mathematics and physics at the Pestalozzistraße Oyten school center.

Oppermann became a member of the CDU in 1968. From 1978 to 1995 he was a member of the Walle Advisory Board at the West Local Office . He is currently chairman of the CDU district association West.

From June 8, 1995 to June 7, 2008, he was a member of the Bremen Parliament. Most recently, he was on the Committee for Port Affairs in the State of Bremen, in youth welfare, in hospitals , in state youth welfare, in petitions , in the state budget and finance and in the municipal budget and finance committee as well as in the KiTa Bremen and operating committees Workshop Bremen represented. He was also a member of the deputation for social affairs, youth, senior citizens and the integration of foreigners.
