Karl von Reden

Karl Ernst August Wilhelm Freiherr von Reden (born May 15, 1821 in Gleidingen , † February 4, 1890 in Oldendorf ) was a manor owner and member of the Reichstag of the German Empire .

Life

Karl von Reden was the owner of the Oldendorf manor near Hermannsburg . He was Canon of Bardowick and a member of the Central Committee of the Royal Agricultural Society .

After 1867 he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Hanover . On April 24, 1879, as a candidate for the German-Hanoverian Party, he won a replacement election in the Hanover 14th Reichstag constituency ( Gifhorn , Celle , Peine , Burgdorf ) and was a member of the Reichstag until the end of the legislative period in 1881. In the Reichstag he sat in on the faction of the Center Party .
