Karl von Rohr

Karl von Rohr (* 1965 ) is a German bank manager.

Life

Karl von Rohr came from the old, originally from Bavaria , later Brandenburg noble family von Rohr . He studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn , at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel , at the University of Lausanne and at Cornell University .

In 1997 he joined Deutsche Bank after completing his law degree . During his work at Deutsche Bank, he held various management positions in Germany and Belgium. Until 1999 he was active in Group Strategy and until 2004 Chief Financial Officer , Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Management Board. From April 2008 he was Head of Human Resources at Deutsche Bank in Germany and from November 2009 a member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank PGK AG and a member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank PGK AG. From 2013 to 2015 he was Global Chief Operating Officer, Regional Management. On November 1, 2015, he became Labor Director and Chief Administrative Officer of Deutsche Bank. Since April 2018 he has been Deputy CEO of Deutsche Bank .

He is also a member of the supervisory board of Barmenia , chairman of the employers' association of the private banking industry and, through group mandates , chairman of the supervisory board of DB Privat- und Firmenkundenbank and the DWS Group .

Von Rohr is married and has four children. He is a member of Rotary .
