Karlheinz Hauser (born March 4, 1967 in Heitersheim ) is a German chef .

Career

After completing his training, Hauser moved to the Hotel Königshof in Munich in 1988 and to Feinkost Käfer in 1989 . He stayed in Munich until 1997: in 1990 he went to Eckart Witzigmann 's Aubergine as sous- chef . As head chef, he moved to Feinkost Käfer's party service in 1992 , to Andechser am Dom in 1995 and as kitchen director to Käfers am Hofgarten in 1996 . From 1997 to 2002 he was kitchen director of the Hotel Adlon in Berlin.

Since 2002 he has been head chef and patron of Seven Seas , a gourmet restaurant on the Süllberg in Hamburg-Blankenese , which has been awarded a Michelin star since 2003 . The second Michelin star was added in 2012. The Schlemmer Atlas 2013 gave it the top grade of 5 cooking spoons.

Hauser is married and has three children.
