Kaseda ( Japanese 加 世 田 市 , - shi ) was a Japanese city in Kagoshima Prefecture .
history
Kaseda was promoted to shi on July 15, 1954 .
Kaseda united on November 7, 2005 with the communities of Bōnotsu ( 坊 津 町 , -chō ), Kasasa ( 笠 沙 町 , -chō ) and Ōura ( 大 浦 町 , -chō ) of the districts of Kawanabe and Kimpō ( 金峰 町 , -chō ) des Hioki County to Minamisatsuma City .
