Kastriot Sopa (born November 20, 1992 ) is a German light welterweight boxer .
successes
He was German champion in 2012 and 2014 and started at the 2013 European Championships in Minsk . After victories against Alexandru Cuciureanu from Romania and Howhannes Batschkow from Armenia, he lost to Wasgen Safarjanz from Belarus in the quarterfinals .
At the 2015 European Games in Baku , he won a bronze medal after only being eliminated in the semifinals against Italian Vincenzo Mangiacapre . In the round of 16 of the 2015 European Championships in Samokow , he was eliminated by Johan Orozco.
At the 2016 Olympic qualification tournament in Baku , he lost in the first fight against Harry Garside .
World Series of Boxing
In the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons, Sopa played a total of five fights for the German Eagles and Team Germany in the World Series of Boxing and won four.
