Kateřina Skypalová (born February 20, 1999 ) is a Czech hammer thrower .

Athletic career

Kateřina Skypalová gained her first experience in competitions, international level, at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2015 in the Georgian capital Tbilisi . There she was eliminated from the qualification with 52.81 m. A year later, she won the gold medal there with 66.58 m at the U18 European Championships, which were held for the first time . In 2017 she took part in the U20 European Championships in Grosseto , where she also won gold with 64.78 meters. In 2018 she took part in the U20 World Championships in Tampere , where she finished seventh with 61.37 m in the final.

In 2017 Skypalová became the Czech hammer throw champion.
