Kate Ebli

Kathleen M. Ebli (born October 15, 1958 in Sleepy Hollow , New York , † January 2, 2011 ) was an American politician of the Democratic Party .

Ebli studied at Pennsylvania State University , where she received a bachelor's degree in general agriculture , and Oakland University , where she received her master's degree in business administration .

She began her political career in November 2006 when she filled the vacant seat of Herb Kehrl in the Michigan House of Representatives . She was able to defend her mandate in the 2008 elections. Two years later, however, in the 2010 election, she was defeated by her Republican opponent Dale Zorn .

Ebli was married and had a daughter. She was a member of the National Rifle Association .
