Kate Maberly

Kate Maberly (born March 14, 1982 in Reigate , Surrey , England ; full name: Kate Elizabeth Cameron Maberly) is a British actress .

Life

Her first successful role was that of Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden (1993). Since then she has appeared in films such as the Stephen King film adaptation The Langoliers (1995) and When Dreams Learn To Fly (2004), starring Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet , among others. In 1998 she had a supporting role in the IMAX film Egypt - Heir of the Pharaohs with Omar Sharif . Much of her remaining films were productions for British television. She has also spoken in several radio plays. In addition to her acting activities, she successfully completed her studies at Trinity College of Music in Greenwich , London , in 2003 , and plays the cello and piano .

Her older sister Polly Maberly is also an actress.
